Overview participating exhibitions
In her series ALIEN, Beatrice Pediconi explores the spiritual and transcendental qualities of water by mixing it and painting in it using oil paint. She translates scientific studies and observations in fleeting, meditative and spatial paintings, which she captures in photographs – including polaroid and pigment prints – and videos. The works that are created in this way evoke a mysterious sense of supernatural connection. They transport the viewer to a serene, alien, yet also familiar and inviting universe. Pediconi succeeds in bringing together chemistry, physics, music, photography and video into a personal vision.
