Versatile and with a keen eye for social themes and visual beauty, Noorderlicht stages the world’s finest photography. Use the Noorderlicht App to find out about current exhibitions, projects, books, news and activities, plan a visit, and browse or search thousands of photos and hundreds of photographers in the archive.

The current 1.1 edition still focuses on the Noorderlicht International Photofestival 2012 (Sept 2-Oct 7). It now features:

• Full programme with exhibitions and activities
• All 115 participating photographers and their work
• Maps to exhibition venues
• Visitor information
• Add photos or photographers to your Favorites
• Add events or exhibits to your To Do list and iCal
• Share on Facebook, Twitter or email

Version 2.0 will be available shortly. With this update the app will be usable and actual the whole year round. New additions to the app a.o.:

• All photographers that exhibited at Noorderlicht since 1996 and their work. That means over 1,100 photographers and thousands of photos!
• Overview of all exhibitions and festivals
• Agenda with exhibitions and activities
• News and updates
