Wim Dussel - Een Groninger op oorlogspad

After the Second World War the Groningen journalist W.W. Dussel (1920-2004) was a war correspondent with the Marine Brigade in the Dutch East Indies (1945-1948) and with the Dutch contingent serving with the UN in Korea (1950-1951). In addition to filing written reports he was a talented photographer. In cooperation with the International Institute for Social History (which administers Dussel’s photo archive) and the Netherlands Institute for Military History (to which Dussel presented his Korea negatives in 2000) the RHC Groninger Archives shows the high points of his work as a war photographer.
