Noorderlicht

Noorderlicht is a versatile and international podium for documentary photograph. It is a place for photographers who explore their world and in their work picture its big events and everyday occurrences, and everything in between. They do this in a moving, enthusiastic, critical and personal way, and always with great commitment. These are also the starting points for the Noorderlicht Projects.

The project bureau is responsible for the following activities:

- initiation of photography assignments

- coordination of the touring of Noorderlicht exhibitions

- cooperates with other colleague organisations, companies, and non-profit organisations for co productions and to support non-western photographers.

The project bureau works together with curators and institutions on the exchange of exhibitions and on co productions worldwide. An overview of all exhibitions that are available for touring can be requested. If you are interested in working together with us we would be pleased to hear from you. We are open for new ideas and proposals.
