Cupido (1905-1985) was active in the 1930s as a photographer on Terschelling: the brass band, two men on a scooter, a portrait of a farmer. The photographs afford a picture of life on Terschelling about seventy years ago. Schotanus made photographs of the modern buildings in the office park Le Défense in Paris, and in the high-tech amusement park Futuroscope near Poitiers. She became fascinated with the lines, shapes and contrasts between light and dark in the buildings and their surroundings.
