Roswitha Rausch (b. 1940) is a late-bloomer in photography. Only since 1986 has she taken various professional courses and mastered the technique. Rausch employs photography in its purest form, without any digital interventions. Still, sometimes the architectural photographs and cityscapes made during her ramblings through France appear distorted. Photographer and writer Marlies Bosch recently made a trip through the Arches National Park in Arizona. She photographed the space, framed by natural phenomena such as the enormous stone arches created by centuries of erosion. Humans can only feel insignificant in this impressive environment. |
