Magda Lagerwerf is fascinated by "beauty in decay." For this exhibition she documented places in the vicinity of Hoogezand that in due course will disappear. She manipulated these photographs into impressionistic montages in which both her involvement with the environment of the present residents and a rational approach to the subject come together.
