Visual artist B.C. Epker (b. 1968) works with drawing and photography. At present he is busy with a series of photographs that were created during long walks through the Friesian landscape. Together with children, props and enough rations, he searches for 'forgotten' places. He finds these on large estates, along the edge of the woods, or at the end of a train station platform or in a room in a house. Once there the children's play is staged and then turned into theatre. Fragile constellations are created, and reality and imagination flow into one another. |
