The 'Autumn Flower' series by Jurjen Backer Dirks (b. 1974) is an amalgam of photography, fashion design, make-up and digital manipulation. The photographer was assisted by model Janneke Jansen, fashion designer Sjoukje de Vries, cosmetician Rita Schambach and image manipulator Marten Aukes. Two years ago Dirks also took part in the first edition of Noorderlicht in Leeuwarden with a solo exhibition in the Filmhuis.
