The 'Cooperative Dairy Factory' project by Leeuwarden photographer Paul Zijlstra (b. 1974) is devoted to the former dairy plants in Friesland that are getting a new use. The series reveals the love-hate relationship between the retention of the buildings, on the one hand, and on the other the effect on the historical, cultural heritage as a result of new uses.
