Since 1997 Paris Photo has been the photography fair in Europe. Every year in November, 100 international photo galleries there take the measure of the photography of yesterday, today and tomorrow. The Netherlands is regularly represented at Paris Photo too. Last year several Dutch galleries even provided the special presentation of the fair, called its 'statement'.

What are the Dutch galleries taking to put into the limelight at Paris Photo this year? Noorderlicht asked six participants who had been accepted for the fair. In other words: you'll see Paris first in Groningen!

Participating galleries: Flatland Gallery [Utrecht], Galerie Van Kranendonk [Den Haag], Ton Peek [Utrecht], Serieuze Zaken [Amsterdam], Cokkie Snoei [Rotterdam], Torch [Amsterdam]

Location: Academie Minerva, Gedempte Zuiderdiep 158
Tuesday through Friday, 9:30 a/m/ to 9:30 p.m., Saturday and Sunday 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
