Freelance photographer Aernout Overbeeke began his career in the 1970s as a fashion photographer, working for Avenue and Conde Nast, among others. Presently he travels the world on assignments. This has enabled him to discover many unusual places and spots on this earth in his free time. They can be exotic, but also less exotic, like Romania, where the photographs being shown at Art Bureau ARTeria were made.
