Astrid Mellema did a documentary on cemeteries in the French Provence. In La Traversée she recorded the threatened deterioration, the irreversible and unmistakable signs of the effects of time. Robert Mulder shows surrealistic photographs of cemeteries and the work of his students on the Groningen landscape. The technique of Ans van Diepen is macro-photography. In Flower Detail natural structures, contrasts, colours and lines become abstractions in which vulnerability, strength, beauty and sensuality are central elements.
