Janny Wierenga has her personal vision of Vlieland. She is particularly fascinated by the changing skies and lines and structures of the landscape. Henk Linnewiel himself says of his photographs, 'Trash automatically takes on organic structures, if you do nothing to it. The beauty, which that produces, is often not experienced as such. People are used to order, regimentation, tidiness. They are stuck in conformism. Breaking through that is an act of liberation.'
