For a number of years Amsterdam's Photo Collective Camerata has been busy with a project in the province of Groningen. In 2002 the photo book L'If Only Amsterdam was in Groningen' appeared with photographs of eastern and north-eastern Groningen. Last year Camerata photographed the peat bogs of Groningen and Drenthe. This will result in a new photo book which will come out in the spring of 2004. Camerata will be celebrating its tenth anniversary next fall, and previously did photo essays on Berlin, the Belgian mining region of Borinage and industrial cities in Poland.

Camerata Amsterdam consists of Jacques van Gool, Nico Roodhart, Ton van Rijn, Carien van Willigen.
