Galerie Bloemrijk Vertrouwen is showing the work of three members of Fria, the Frisian association of professional artists. Since she moved to the Frisian coast Ellen Floris has been inspired by the impressive Wadden landscape. The space, emptiness, threatening sky and always flat horizon are threads that run through her work. Joost Schmidt has travelled through Africa, Asia, America and Europe. The photographs that he made in Egypt form the basis for his exhibition. Transitions and change are the most important source of inspiration for the almost abstract images of Gerhild Tóth. She made these photographs during her trips to several continents.
