Anke Kuypers (b. 1945) was trained as a gold and silversmith. Presently she works with various techniques and materials, including digital photography. At first sight her series Still not Working appears to consist of the same images. Those studying them more closely however see subtle differences: the camera records what the eye cannot see. Kuypers's second series, Unbearables, is comprised of photomontages of 'unwearable' or 'unbearable' ornamentation of the human body.
