The fashion designer Said Mahrouf (b. 1973), a graduate of Amsterdam's Rietveld Academy, is the founder and artistic director of the ComposiTe Foundation. This foundation creates site-specific performances in which the relations between the human body, fashion and architecture are central. The form that the foundation uses to create art invites cooperation with other disciplines. What Mahrouf will be bringing to Kunsthuis Syb is a surprise. The artist will live and work in the Kunsthuis for a time.
