In 1970 Els Knol-Licht began photographing with an Asahi Pentax Spotmatic. In the course of time she united this hobby with another: sailing and getting beached by the tide on the Wad. For her, the space, the play of light on the water and the reflections of the clouds are a constant source of inspiration and satisfaction.
