New double portraits from Marco Wiegers, the Groningen photographer who also is participating in 'Hidden Sites', the exhibition in Borg Verhildersum, accompanying the book of the same title from Noorderlicht. The photographs here are from a work in progress in which he experiments further with staged images evoking a world on the boundary between life and death. 'Flying, crashing and holding on' is the connecting theme of the portraits which, on this occasion, he combines with photographs of the remains of animals.
