Horst Pachler lived and worked for 13 years in the wilderness of the Sierra Nevada mountains in California. His photographs demonstrate his powers at observing, visualizing and connecting natural phenomena.

André Sietsma is fascinated by the stories that details can tell. He shows images of gravestones that are moving, but through their candor and simplicity also sometimes quite distressing.
