Groningen Public Library

As many as six exhibitions. Dagblad van het Noorden photographer Jan Zeeman (Work); Minerva Academy students Marieke Kijk in 't Veld (Koekoekstraat) and Tryntsje Nauta (Children), Daguerre Photo Club (Colorful Netherlands), amateur photographer Janny Wierenga (Macedonia) and Art Collective SUBstitution in cooperation with FlauweCult (Rose-colored Glasses).

SUBstitution - Roze Bril (Rose-colored Glasses) "The Dutch are such a negative people. They're rarely spontaneous, complain a lot, and hard to get enthusiastic about things. The project Rose-colored Glasses is intended to change all that: bring back 'a bit more positivity'." That's what the organizers have to say about their collaborative project full of staged photography, costumes, objects and theater. Opening: Sunday, 16 September, 2 to 4 pm (free entry) Closing: Sunday, 28 October, 2-4:30 pm (free entry), with the election of the most considerate Groninger, under the title Attention, attention.

Various activities will also be taking place as part of Rose-colored Glasses, including the book butler (21 Sept), a cuddling workshop (30 Sept), a book exchange (11 Oct) and a handcrafts afternoon under the title Pimp your book bag (17 Oct). Complete overview on www.substitution.nl
