Rachel Corner > African Refugees
Inge Dijkinga > Iceland
Rachel Corner reports on the fate of African refugees, coming on foot or in small, rickety boat in search of a better life in Europe. Among others, she followed refugees from Darfur, in the Sudan, who have found shelter in a warehouse in Rome. In 2005 she also photographed the group of Malians who the Moroccan authorities dumped in the desert. Nature photographer Inge Dijkinga has a partiality for landscape. She shows a selection from the work (including panoramas and close-ups) that she made in February, 2007, during an expedition through Iceland.
