The city, the job and the burgomaster
In September, 2007, Leeuwarden chose Ferd Crone as its new burgomaster. Gitte Brugman asked him if she could follow him through the first hundred days of his term of office. Crone said 'yes' and allowed her to record the run-up to his installation. With this series as her graduation project, in May, 2008, Brugman graduated cum laude from the Fotoacademie Amsterdam.
