In the Museum creations by the most important fashion designers are being shown. Designers such as Azzedine Alaia, Comme des Garcons, John Galliano and Vivienne Westwood show selections from their collection typical of their designs. These are presented in closely connected with objects from the Groninger Museum. Apart from recent fashion, photography by Inez van Lamsweerde (1963) and Vinoodt Matadin (1961) will also be exhibited.

Inez van Lamsweerde is one of the most conroversial photographers in The Netherlands. In 1991 she started her lightning career with the Groningen photo-assignment Vital Statistics, with which she won the PANL Kodak Award. Together with Vinoodh Matadin they form a popular team, whose photos are used for advertisements in magazines such as Interview Magazine, Visionaire, Vogue Homme and Kodak. This photo presentation is a little taste of the big overview exhibition of Van Lamsweerde and Matadin, which will be organised by the Groninger Museum in the year 2000.
