Gallery De Voorruit, is an artists' initiative offering a platform for furniture designers, stylists and artists from other disciplines. They focus on the connection between various disciplines of art. Therefore, the work presented in the gallery the limits of photography. Six photographers show their vision regarding the theme The Garden of Eden by means of a three dimensional creation. By using the third dimension they fill in the photographical content. Using the photography they have also added functional design elements to Cafe De Voorruit in the Der Aa-kerk. Whereas in the gallery emphasis is placed on the connection between photography and other disciplines of art, photography and functionality are accentuated in the cafe.
