Besides showing various photo and video sculptures, Blok and Lugthart also exhibit the project 'De Digitale Rivier' (The digital river). Portraits of both artists family archives have been incorporated into this project, making the family come alive in a video installation.

Blok and Lugthart have embraced various disciplines and developments in today's visual arts in their work. In their surprisingly varied oeuvre they use very diverse materials and techniques that are combined into images and installations in which photography and video play an important part. The work incites moments of alienation, in which things are not what they seemed.
