Sissingh takes staged photos that feature his parents and himself. His series consist of situations of everyday activities in Dutch interiors. The photos are carefully thought out and are then photographed by Boersma. The relation between the photos is often absurdist, for there is a certain tension in every photo, as if something is about to happen. In one photo Sissingh is holding the tie of his mother's apron as if he is about to untie it. In another, they are looking out of the window in great fascination, as if something is going on outside.
