Van Iperen takes photos of pop concerts and pop stars, among other things. Long before his graduation from the School voor de Fotografie in The Hague in 1990, he was working for Holland's most renowned music magazine Oor. His work was published in Nieuwe Revu, de Volkskrant and in foreign magazines like Guitar World, Rolling Stone and Rock Star. His photograph of Mick Jagger in action won the Zilveren Camera in the category Culture in 1993. Two years later, he won first prize for his reportage of the Woodstock Festival '94, of which there is a selection on show in the Korenbeurs. |
