Pam's (1949) work is a combination of photos and fragments from travel reports. The photos describe a trip through the Cyclades in Greece in the summer of 1993 and a long journey through Thailand, the Philippines and across Australia in 1994. "Ekomaxjack" is a combination of the names of the photographer and his two children. The name is a metaphor for their strong family connection. The three worlds in the title refer to the Old World, the third world and the New World through which they travelled. Pam's photos can be interpreted in two ways. On the one hand they show people in their own culture seen through the eyes of the photographer, but on the other hand the images show the photographer himself as traveller and onlooker.
