Kadir van Lohuizen (Netherlands, b. 1963) began to travel and photograph when he finished school. For clients such as Vrij Nederland, The Independent and Newsweek, he recorded conflicts in Palestine, South Africa and Angola, among other places. Under the title Aderen he documented life along the great rivers such as the Ganges and Mississippi. In 2005 he presented the book Diamond Matters, about the journey diamonds make 'from the mines to the jet set' Van Lohuizen's work was previously seen at the Noorderlicht Photofestival in 2000, Africa Inside.
