Paolo Pellegrin (Italy, b. 1964), a member of Magnum since 2005, has done award-winning reportage on the AIDS problem in Uganda, children in conflict zones in Romania and Bosnia, and on Albania and Kosovo. He has published various books, including Cambodia (1998), which was produced in cooperation with Médecins sans frontières. Work by Pellegrin has been seen at the previous Noorderlicht Photofestivals Garden of Eden (1997, with a photo report on the porn industry) and Nazar (2004, with a report on Libya under Khadaffi). He also participated in the Noorderlicht exhibition Confronting Views (2002, on the Palestinian/Israeli conflict).
