By the participation of these two Groningen photographers in Noorderlicht's incentive project ‘Nieuw Licht’ (New Light), the development of their artistic careers has been given an extra impulse.

The result of this project is a double exhibition and the publication of both photographers' first book by Aurora Borealis. more

Kiyoshi Suzuki - Soul and Soul
nominated for Best Photography Book Award PHotoEspaña
One hundred photography books have been selected by a jury to take part in the exhibition The Best Photography Books of the Year (June 4-12, Madrid) and to apply for a prize in the different categories. The awards are initiated by the PHotoEspaña photo festival.

Kiyoshi Suzuki - Soul and Soul 1969-1999 was published by Noorderlicht (Aurora Borealis) in 2008. The book was also nominated for Best Photobook of the Year 2007/08 at Fotofrühling Kassel.
