Dinu Mendrea (1970) travelled for two years with his camera through Jerusalem and made the impressive photo essay "Twenty in Jerusalem," a series of black and white photographs which shows the everyday life in the city. He portraits the life of those who live in the shadow of the conflict and violence. Mendrea kept on purpose a distance from the very violent happenings and pointed his camera to the moments of despair, tiredness and hope.
