Stienes Veldkamp assembles a small animal encyclopaedia. He stages photographs of artificial animals en combined them with unexpected quotes from old books. The resulting series, 'A Horse Is a Horse, of Course' is a stab at reality, an different take on the animal kingdom that doesn't shy away from a bit of dry humour. A photobook was published last year by Noorderlicht's publisher, Aurora Borealis.
