'A Horse Is a Horse, of Course' is a small animal encyclopaedia. Stienes Veldkamp (Grou, 1965) staged photographs of artificial animals and found unexpected text fragments from old animal books to go with them. The result is a play with reality, a different look at the animal kingdom that doesn't shy away from a bit of humour.
The book is also available in a Dutch edition, under the title 'Een waarheid als een koe', and as a bilingual cd-rom.
